Born With Teeth Is Sinking Into the West End

Poetic jabs, candlelit conspiracies and bard boys behaving badly!
Things are about to get very Elizabethan at Wyndham's Theatre as the Royal Shakespeare Company teams up with Playful Productions and Elizabeth Williams to present Born With Teeth, Liz Duffy Adams' razor-sharp imagining of a backstage battle (and bromance?) between two English theatre legends: Kit Marlowe and William Shakespeare. As all the horrors of the Elizabethan age spin chaos on the streets, this back-room face-to-face paints a provocative and intimate portrait of their relationship - with dramatic results.
Playing the famously fiery Marlowe is Ncuti Gatwa, best known as the breakout star of Sex Education and our current Doctor in Doctor Who. Facing him across the table is Edward Bluemel, who's sharpened his Shakespearean instincts in series like Killing Eve and A Discovery of Witches. As an upstarter, young Shakespeare is equal parts awe, envy, and ambition desperate to prove himself in a world that doesn't yet know his name.
The production marks a significant moment for Daniel Evans, who makes his West End debut for the RSC.
