This bold new reimagining at The London Palladium is directed by Jamie Lloyd (The Seagull, Cyrano de Bergerac), known for stripping stories to their core. So don't cry, Argentina - catch Evita at The London Palladium beginning June 14, 2025.
What's the Story?
Based on real events, Evita follows the rise of Maria Eva Duarte de Peron - a girl from a humble background who charms, seduces, and strategises her way into the heart of Argentina as the wife of President Juan Peron. As the people of Argentina mourn their beloved First Lady, a citizen - who sees Eva in a far less adoring light - steps forward to tell her story, determined to prove her so called inadequacy.
Featuring the Oscar-winning You Must Love Me, as well as Oh What a Circus, Another Suitcase in Another Hall, and of course, Don't Cry for Me Argentina - Evita is not one to be missed!
