Why see Dracula A Comedy of Terrors?
He wants your blood... And your heart
Starring James Daly, Safeena Ladha, Dianne Pilkington and Charlie Stemp!
Following its acclaimed Off-Broadway run, Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors makes its UK premiere at the Menier Chocolate Factory! Vampires are sexy, we all know it, but none quite so as the iconic Dracula. This time, Drac's story has been rewritten by Drama Desk nominee Steve Rosen and Gordon Greenberg, who also doubles as the director and is back at the Menier following his work on Barnum and The Baker's Wife. The pair first debuted this story in a podcast, starring Jon Stamos, Alan Tudyk, and Laura Benanti, to name a few. It's a hilarious take on the seductively scary vampire lord, so hurry up and sink your fangs into Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors!
What's it about?
English estate agent Jonathan Harker travels to Transylvania to meet his latest client, Count Dracula, who seems to be in the midst of an existential crisis and seeks to find his place in the world.
