Aspects of Love

Why see Aspects of Love?

love changes everything

Last chance, must end August 19th!

With music from ALW, and lyrics by Charles Hart and Don Black, Aspects of Love is based on David Garnett's 1955 novella and journeys through the many romantic entanglements of its main character Alex Dillingham (originated by Michael Ball), flitting from Paris to Venice and Montpellier and exploring all the moments of heart-pounding joy and soul-crushing heartbreak along the way.

Most famous for the torch song 'Love Changes Everything', which became a hit for Ball, keeping him in the UK charts for 14 weeks. On the announcement of this new staging, Ball commented: " Aspects of Love holds a very special place in my heart. I am absolutely delighted to revisit Andrew Lloyd Webber's glorious score in a re-imagined chamber production in the West End from May next year... We are just at the start of our journey so the big question is will I be singing my favourite song "Love Changes Everything" what do you think? All will be revealed soon..."

Wondreful production, first class performances!

My first visit to the Chocolate Factory, and what a revelation! From start to finish the evening was superb - I recommend having drinks and dinner in the restaurant beforehand as the food was nothing short of gourmet, and the service outstanding and just so friendly. Really they can't do enough for you. A nice touch was West End 'legend' Dave Willetts coming over to our table and saying hello to everyone. This kinda sums up the overall friendliness and intimacy of the place. The seating is right on the stage, and being in Row A was amazing - right in front of the actors! For a small venue putting on a big West End show it couldn't have been easy, but they achieved it superbly. The staging, performances and orchestra were first class - you were drawn into the story right from the start. Katherine Kingsley as Rose must surely be the find of the West End, having come straight from '39 Steps' to Aspects, and as 'Rose' she's flawless. Seriously - see it while you can! ... Read more
