Laura Pitt-Pulford and Gary Wilmot to star in Little Miss Sunshine

Stage favourite Laura Pitt-Pulford and singing sensation Gary Wilmot are set to star in the upcoming UK premiere of Little Miss Sunshine! The stage adaptation of the cult hit movie begins previews at the Arcola Theatre on 21 March with opening night scheduled for 1 April. 

The cast also includes Gabriel Vick, Paul Keating, Sev Keoshgerian with Sophie Hartley Booth, Evie Gibson and Lily Mae Denman sharing the role of Olive. Ian Carlyle as Larry/Buddy, Imelda Warren-Green as Linda/Miss California and Matthew McDonald as Joshua Rose/Kirby make up the principal cast with Chloe Raphael, Ava Hurley, Ellicia Simondwod, Elodie Salmon, Summer Pelley, Ava Masters, Josselyn Ospina Escobar, Saffia Richards and Yvie Bent completing the bill. 

Little Miss Sunshine is created by James Lapine and William Finn and directed by Mehmet Argen.

What is Little Miss Sunshine about?

Like most families the Hoovers certainly have their fair share of troubles, but when young Olive gets an unexpected invite to compete in the Little Miss Sunshine competition the family pile into their rickety yellow camper van for the journey of a lifetime. As they bumble along the 800 mile route from New Mexico to California the family must compete with breakdowns and heartbreak to get their precious little girl to the pageant on time.
