Nachtland
Sibling conflicts erupt over dark family legacy
Sibling conflicts erupt over dark family legacy
In present day Germany, Nicola and Philipp are in a heated dispute as they sift through their late father's belongings. Tensions begin to flare even further when they uncover an aged painting in the attic. The artwork, a charming 1920s Vienna street scene, bears the mark of an artist who forsook his original career to support Nazism. Nicola wants it sold, Philipp doesn't, and Philipp's wife thinks it should be thrown on a fire.
