Anne-Marie Duff and Kenneth Cranham bring this subtle yet absorbing two-hander to London this winter starring as an oddly matched couple for whom a chance meeting at St. Pancras will change their lives forever. Written by Simon Stephens and directed by Marianne Elliott (the creative force behind The Curious Incident of The Dog in the Night-Time) this intimate character study first debuted on Broadway in 2015 to rapturous praise. Playing with Werner Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, Stephens has created a fascinating meditation on the fragility and desperation of the human connection.
it started with a kiss
It's just another rush hour at St. Pancras but something out of the ordinary is about to happen. An eccentric 45 year old woman approaches a much older man, whom she's never met before, and kisses him. This surprising moment sets in motion a series of events that reveal more about both of them than they ever felt possible.
