Fuerzabruta

Why see Fuerzabruta?

Exhilarating and eye-popping

Fuerzabruta was chosen as the show to re-open the Roundhouse back in 2006. The iconic venue had undergone a £30 million facelift and needed an eye-catching show to announce its re-emergence into the capital's cultural life. Fuerzabruta certainly delivered 'eye-catching' in spades, becoming the fastest selling show in The Roundhouse's history. Eight years later, it returned to dazzle london audiences once again.

What is Fuerzabruta?

The worldwide smash is maybe best described as a club night meets the circus. The Argentine theatre troupe offered up one spectacular set piece after another - from the iconic 'running man' to a synchronised swimming routine that took place in transparent pools, suspended just inches above the audiences heads. The Roundhouse became a big top for night, playing host to series of aerial acrobatics and 'don't try this at home' stunts. The whole show was set to a soundtrack of specially composed house music and decorated with billows of smoke, confetti and neon lights.

Far from a passive viewing experience, the show was standing only, the audience encouraged to interact with the performers as much as possible. A lucky few were also plucked from the crowd every night and become a part of the shows spectacular 'Balloon' sequence.
