Why see Cinderella?

Panto returns to the Palladium after 30 years!

The London Palladium has in recent years been the home of many top flight West End shows, and this Christmas will play host to its first full-scale pantomime in 30 years! Cinderella will be making her dazzling way to the theatre this Christmas, reinstating the venue's status as London's biggest panto stage! Produced by Qdos Entertainment, this is the ultimate tale of rags to riches that the whole family will enjoy, with direction by Michael Harrison and Andrew Wright.

Funny Girl understudy Natasha J Barnes takes the role of Cinderella and her Prince will be Lee Mead, her Fairy Godmother Amanda Holden, Dandini, Julian Clary and Paul O'Grady will be her Wicked Stepmother!

What to expect

In true British pantomime style, expect a hilarious and raucous show complete with songs, outrageous costumes, a dame or two (Ugly Sisters, anybody?) and of course, a celebrity (yet to be announced) in a main role. Follow the story of put-upon Cinderella, who desperately wants to escape her humdrum life and go to the ball, held by the handsome prince. However, her ugly stepsisters and stepmother aren't about to let her steal their limelight. Cue the help of the lovely Fairy Godmother and Buttons the footman, who make sure that she does follow her dream - provided she gets home by midnight!

Produced by the world's leading panto production company Qdos Entertainment, they have created more than 649 shows over the course of 34 years, attracting some of the best-known names in entertainment including Brian Conley, David Hasselhoff (Baywatch), Marti Pellow (Wet Wet Wet, Duncan James (Blue), Julian Clary, Craig Revel Horwood (Strictly), Shane Richie (Eastenders), Gok Wan, Lesley Joseph (Birds Of A Feather), Adam Woodyatt (Eastenders), Lisa Riley (Emmerdale), The Chuckle Brothers, Simon Webbe (Blue), Joe Pasquale, Lee Mead, Joe McElderry, Lee Ryan (Blue again!) and Gareth Gates.

Absolutely Fab-u-lous!!

Absolutely loved this show at Wimbledon Theatre, Craig was super, great panto baddie with wonderful costumes, all the cast were really talented. Best by far was Buttons Pete Firman, really worked hard all show! Clever magic tricks and brilliant banter, loved the wall scene, great slapstick and the coach and horses were amazing from our seats in the Dress Circle. Haven’t been to panto for years but loved it and will make it a family event all year. ... Read more
