Why see Kenrex?
London Transfer
Kenrex, the critically acclaimed one-man play created by Jack Holden and Ed Stambollouian, is transferring to Southwark Playhouse after a triumphant debut in Sheffield! Directed by Stambollouian, the production features Holden (War Horse, Ten Percent) playing a multitude of characters, with a live, Americana-inspired musical score written and performed by John Patrick Elliott.
What Is The Story?
Set in Skidmore, Missouri, Kenrex revisits the unsettling true story of 10 July 1981, when dozens witnessed a man being murdered in broad daylight, yet none admitted to seeing anything. Blurring the lines between true crime and Western myth, Kenrex paints a haunting portrait of an American town and the secrets it keeps.
