This Is My Family makes its London debut at Southwark Playhouse Elephant! Directed by the Vicky Featherstone, this new production brings fresh life to Tim Firth's award-winning musical, first staged to critical acclaim in Sheffield in 2013. Produced by Anthology Theatre, the show is perfectly suited to the venue's unique space, creating an intimate experience for the audience. 

What's The Story?

Told through the eyes of 13-year-old Nicky, This Is My Family follows one well-intentioned but hilariously dysfunctional family as they embark on an unforgettable holiday, which Nicky won in an essay competition. The competition involved her writing about her dream family getaway, bringing her parents, brother, aunt and aging grandmother closer together. But dreams are not quite as realistic as the chaos and dysfunction that her real-life family are certain to bring.
