Machine de Cirque
Don't miss the high-flying theatrics of Machine de Cirque
Fantastical and awe-inspiring, Machine de Cirque is a blast for the kiddies and has enough depth for their grown-ups in tow. The new age of circus has arrived.

The magic of cirque comes to London, and with it, a steam-punk, dystopian twist! Performing at the Sadler's Wells Peacock Theatre for a month-long run this September, Canadian ensemble Machine de Cirque present their innovative blend of physical storytelling, live music, gravity-defying acrobatics, and aerial artistry, all tied up with mountains of charm and wit.
The story follows the aftermath of an apocalypse, in which four circus artists and a musician collide in their hunt for other survivors. Traveling a world filled with spare parts and broken machines, the search for humanity brings them face to face with themselves as they juggle, manipulate the teeterboard and climb their homemade communication machine (a system of pulleys and moving platforms).
