The Last Temptation of Boris Johnson

A satirical look into the future of post Brexit Britain
Why see The Last Temptation of Boris Johnson?
A Timely Political Dramedy For Brexit Britain
Jonathan Maitland, the respected British film and theatremaker behind Four Lions, turns his wit and wisdom to the great Brexit divide in The Last Temptation Of Boris Johnson, a timely dramedy set to make its world premiere at London's Park Theatre in the Spring of 2019. Maitland takes the action right back to the pivitol moment in which BoJo decided to back Brexit during the fateful Islington dinner party in February 2016 before fast-forwarding 13 years later to a drastically changed Britain.
As it's title suggests, the play injects comedy of biblical proportions into the gathering, which also features special guest diners Michael Gove and his wife, British columnist Sarah Vine, as well as Anglo Russian business magnate Evgeny Lebedev, owner of The Evening Standard. The road from backbench MP to frontbench Brexit advocate is fraught with good intentions, as the ghosts of PM's past Thatcher, Churchill and Blair do well to remind him...
