Festive Parody
It's been decades since Richard Curtis' Christmas rom-com Love Actually became a cult Christmas classic... it's time for refresh, don't you think? Lovers Actually is a fantastically fun parody of the beloved classic, from the team that brought Homo Alone to the Other Palace Studio last year - which smashed the records of the venues greatest ever selling shows.
Writers Jodie Prenger (Coronation Street) and Neil Hurst (Fat Friends the Musical) have put together a new British masterpiece, poking loving fun in tribute to the holiday staple which brought audiences so much festive yearning through its eight intertwining lovelorn stories. Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson, Hugh Grant, Kiera Knightley and Liam Neeson, move over. There's a new wife-jacking tale in town.
