Why see Sea Wall?

Andrew Scott Stars

First premiering in 2008, Simon Stephen's Sea Wall received critical acclaim, with acting powerhouse Andrew Scott at the helm it seemed that this pairing was a match made in heaven. Sea Wall now returns in 2018, with Andrew Scott reprising his role, for two weeks only at The Old Vic.

This thirty minute one-man play explores fear, family and irreversible actions. Written by Stephens especially for Scott this revival is part of the The Old Vic's 200th birthday celebrations and is sure to be a highlight of the festivities. The monologue was also filmed and released independently in 2012.

Scott has had a whirlwind year, with his portrayal of Hamlet in the Almeida's production of Shakespeare's greatest tragedy garnering him many award nominations, including the Olivier nom for Best Actor.
