Fresh from ringing in the New Year at London's Westminster Hall, Queen and the likely successor to Freddie Mercury, the flamboyantly brilliant American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert are trailblazing their way around the country on their first UK tour. Lambert is known for his electifying and commanding performances on stage, and joins a legendary musical phenomenon in Brian May and Roger Taylor, plus the more recent additions to Queen. A must-see for Queen fans, and to see a rising star conquer his critics.
Lambert first came to the public conciousness in the2009 series of American Idol;in a wonderful bit of foreshadowing he sang Bohemian Rhapsody for his first audition, little did he know that it would signal the start of a very special partnership. During the series' finale, he was joined by Queen's Brian, Roger and eventual winner Kris Allen in a rousing rendition of We Are The Champions.
Despite not winning, Adam has seen success with his debut album For Your Entertainment reaching Number 3 in the charts in 2009, while his 2012 release Trespassing made it to the top spot.
