A thunderous piece of theatre

The British obsession with the weather takes centre stage in this highly regarded hit by Olivier winner David Haig, telling the true story of the allied meteorologists charged with the most important forecast in the history of WWII, that of June 6th, 1944 - D-Day. The decision that changed the course of history

In a tense, yet extremely thrilling performance, Haig stars as Group Captain James Stagg, sombre Scot and Chief Metrological Officer for the allied forces. As the proposed date for the biggest amphibious landing in history approaches, he and his team battle against General Dwight D. Eisenhower (Malcolm Sinclair), who wants give Hitler his due as soon as possible. But with 350,000 lives at stake, Stagg is not taking this assignment lightly, refusing to gamble against the notoriously changeable British weather.
