The Life Of The Party

Why see The Life Of The Party?

Celebrated Broadway composer Andrew Lippa stars in this sparkling celebration of his musical contributions to musical theatre. A must-see for any musical theatre super-fan, this strictly limited engagement is only on for three weeks. He'll be joined for this brand-new revue by three of London's top theatre performers.

WHAT IS THE SHOW ABOUT?

Behind hits such as The Addams Family, Big Fish and The Wild Party, Lippa discusses and performs some of his biggest Broadway tunes, and discusses the stories behind them, with a host of the industry's top talent.

Four-time Olivier-nominated actress Summer Strallen has been ruling as Queen Bee in the West End for her leading roles in Top Hat, The Sound of Music, Love Never Dies, Guys and Dolls.

The multi-talented Caroline O'Connor is recognised for her long-standing commitment to musical theatre worldwide and on film - you may well remember her most as Nini Legs-In-The-Air in Buz Lurhmann's 2001 hit Moulin Rouge. On stage she has been seen in The Showgirl Within, Gypsy, A Christmas Story, and Mack and Mabel, for which she was nominated for an Olivier Award.

Damian Humbley is a regular in Chocolate Factory productions, and has also appeared in Lend Me A Tenor, Company, and Merrily We Roll along.

Exposure the Musical | original, creative - a work of art

What an incredible and different show - unlike anything I have ever seen. The energy of the cast and music was second to none and I LOVED the set - the best I've ever seen. My favourite song had to be Pandora's suicide song, my last goodbye - so beautiful! A complex and layered show - a work of art. ... Read more

Truly a show not to be missed!

We went today; fabulous performances all round and all involved were on top form. Music, lyrics and the whole show including the choreography, staging and acting were strong throughout. It's a shame it's such a short run but on the other hand it allows stars to perform who might not normally have time to do so. Another great success for the Chocolate Factory and good food too before or after the Show. ... Read more
