A new show based on Julia Donaldson's acclaimed book!
Hot on the heels of previous hit stage adaptations of Julia Donaldson's children books Room On The Broom and winter favourite Stick Man, a new show based on the charming What The Ladybird Heard flutters into the Lyric Theatre in summer 2017, just in time for the school break! Perfect for ages three and up, we see how a resourceful ladybird foils the plans of two crafty burglars who want to steal the farmer's prize cow. In order to thwart them, she must use her brains and friends to make sure it doesn't happen!
Join the ladybird with her friends the woolly sheep, the hairy hog, the fat red hen and the dainty dog as they work together to trip up the two robbers Hefty Hugh and Lanky Len in a humorous adventure that includes live music, sing-alongs and fun puppetry to stimulate the kids' imagination! And in addition to regular performances, the playmakers want everybody to feel involved, so they are including a British Sign Langauge performance as well as a Relaxed Performance for children with autism and other similar conditions. Now everybody can enjoy this charming new adventure by Julia Donaldson and Lydia Monks!
