Following that legendary sellout night at the London Palladium back in 2013, Al Pacino makes a much welcome return to London , and for another celebration of one of the most acclaimed careers in acting history in a theatre setting. Pacino himself takes centre stage alongsside a compere, as they explore his time starting Off-Broadway in the Sixties right through his extensive movie career up to the present day.Prepare to hear some long-secret stories and previously unseen clips, as well as the rare chance to speak directly with Pacino in a question and answer session in the second half of the evening.
When one hears the name Pacino, their thoughts indelibly travel to his roles in Mafia movies. As well as his breakout roles in Scarface and Donnie Brasco, Pacino has starred and appeared in over 40 separate films in a career spanning over 45 years.
Nominated for the Oscar eight times, he finally won for his role in Scent of a Woman in 1992. A frequent collaborator with HBO, he has also garnered Golden Globe and Emmy awards for his roles in Angels in America and You Don’t Know Jack.
