Tape Face

Endlessly inventive, hysterically funny

Why see Tape Face?
A homage to a forgotten art form
Debuting in 2016 in Las Vegas, and appearing on America's Got Talent in 2008, this uniquely charming silent comedian is set to charm the socks off audiences at the Garrick Theatre, as part of his first UK tour. Hailed by Mr Mean (Simon Cowell) as a modern-day Charlie Chaplin, Sam Wills' curious and cute creation has won over audiences in America, his native New Zealand with his uproariously funny use of every day objects, music and even the films of Patrick Swayze. A fond tribute to the forgotten art of mime and silent comedy, Tape Face won the The Press People's Choice Award at the World Buskers Festival in 2008, following his appearance on AGT.
Often leaving audiences lost for words with his mix of both physical comedy and pensive acting, his unique use of simple mediums such as silent film, mime, close-up magic, puppetry, and even the music of Motown has seen him win accolades from critics the world over.
