What is the plot?

Hermia loves Lysander and Helena loves Demetrius but Demetrius is supposed to be marrying Hermia. When the Duke of Athens tries to enforce the marriage, the lovers take refuge in the woods outside the city, and walk into the midst of a dispute between the king and queen of the fairies. And they are not alone. So, too, does a group of amateur actors rehearsing a play. Between the angry fairies, the bumbling players and the dazed lovers, Puck armed with a love juice capable of making anyone fall for the first person they set eyes upon no matter how unsuitable.

A Midsummer Nights Dream

Amazing production with an incredible cast. Highly accessible with the delivery of original Shakespearean language in a modern way. Great comic moments with exceptional performances from Oberon (Padraic Delaney), Puck (Gavin Fowler)and Helena (Katherine Kingsley). Walliams and Shaw are of course a delight, but all of the cast really do give wonderful performances and should be noted. What a scintillating performance. What a great night out. Sure, there are critics but with its modern spin, this performance certainly makes Shakespeare more accessible and entertaining.
