The show was a delight from start to finish. We saw Maya Wasowicz in the role of Viola (as Nancy Carroll was unwell), and she was outstanding. What a rare talent! Hope to see her in more roles in the future. (and we heard every word)

Loved this production. I knew very little about the plot but was soon engrossed despite wooden seats. Can’t recommend enough.

Intoxicating Performance.

As a seasoned theatregoer I would rate this performance the most exhilarating and exciting that I have ever experienced.I was lucky enough to gain a stage seat which enabled seemingly complete involvement with the quite superb cast. The very Shakespearean way that this production was staged gave the impression that we were all transported back in time to that era.As I commented to the brilliant Mark Rylance on my way out ( yes, he was doing his deshabiller at the base of the stage stairs !! ) I felt quite drunk on the experience. Sorry for those of you that did not manage to see this wonderfully tragic and yet oh so amusing production..............a magic part of my life that I will never forget. Thankyou to you all. XX

Shakespeare as it should be done...

I honestly admit this was the 2nd time I've seen a production of "Twelfth Night", but the first time around in Britain, with an all-male cast and in historical setting. And boy, did I have fun. The cast is having a great time and this transfers onto the audience. The atmosphere in the theatre was thrilling. Notably from the cast are of course: Mark Rylance, giving a stand-out performance as Olivia, truly heart warming. Also fantastic: Johnny Flynn as Viola, who played the character on a very emotional and touching level. Really amazing. Stephen Fry as Malvolio is giving a very solid performance. He dances and sings in this... btw. Special mention must also be given to Samuel Barnett and Liam Brennan, who are perfectly cast and bring a real depth to their performances. I had a really great time, the show was running approx. 3 hours but not a single dull moment in here. Go, no... run to see this.

Saw Twelfth Night last night,17th November, and thought it was superb. Being able to watch the actors dress and have their make-up applied on stage before performance was a bonus. The cast were excellent and if I had to choose best performances I would say Feste, Maria and Olivia but this is not to take any credit away from the rest of the cast, just that these three were outstanding. The cast appeared to be having a great time and the audience did as well. It was a great interpretation of this well known play, the humour brought out more by expression than speech at times. I would recommend it both to Shakespeare lovers and those who might be wary of his works. Book your tickets now!

We went on Sat for the Afternoon show, just fantastic, brilliant cast who bought the play to life. At several moments the crowd were laughing out loud. Richard Wilson is very good, but in my opinion Festi stole the show, he was quick, funny and warm and within seconds had the audience in the palm of his hand. Very well done everyone, and many thanks for a fab afternoons entertainment.
