First off... the hispanic caricature that was there purely for a cheap laugh and had nothing to do with the themes of the play deeply offended me having a hispanic background, this is subtle racism at play. I expected more from the Arcola. The script was rushed with little attention to detail. They took everything from the film and made a novelty out of it, expanding jokes into songs which had little to do with story and character development that served as exposition rather than pushing the plot forward. My teenage daughter could adapt this better in a month.
