The outrageous comedy magicians first took America by storm in 1975 with their anarchic brand of comedy and magic, with Penn Jilette providing much of the speaking - whilst Teller prefers to communicate through mime and often sarcastic facial expressions. In fact, Teller is known simply as Teller, having legally changed his name some time ago! Anything goes at a Penn and Teller performances, and their material spans from gory tricks and clever pranks, to tackling issues in science and religion, political satire and by exposing frauds.

Creating a real musical from scratch with a new story, character, music and choreography every night is no mean feat, but these guys have had huge success in the past with their previous hits including Emotional Baggage, a first-class Heathrow Airport-set romance, and Sweeney Cod, the tale of a fish shop owner with music that is somewhat reminiscent of Kander and Ebb's musicals.
