Stephen Mangan, Sharon D Clarke and Lara Pulver Join Guys and Dolls!
News Desk, September 12th, 2018Stephen Mangan (The Birthday Party), Sharon D Clarke (Caroline, or Change) and Oliver award winner Lara Pulver (Gypsy, Sherlock) have joined the cast of Guys and Dolls: Live in Concert at the Royal Albert Hall as The Narrator, Sarah Brown and General Cartwright respectively! Running for only three performances (!) the production also stars Jason Manford as Nathan Detroit, Meow Meow as Miss Adelaide and Adrian Lester as Sky Masterson.
What is Guys and Dolls about?
Set during the Great Depression Guys and Dolls tells the story of a pair of big-city gamblers and their trouble with love. Sky Masterson is a big city gambler, he's got the flash and he's got the grit but when he falls for mission worker he becomes unstuck. Nathan on the other hand, is a scrappy upstart who's long-suffering fiance, club singer Adelaide, has been trying to convince him to marry her for 14 years!
