Trainspotting Live

Why see Trainspotting Live?

Choose life. choose immersive theatre.

Harry Gibson's 1996 award-winning stage adaptation returns to London's Vaults courtesy of In Your Face Theatre Company's immersive theatre experience, taking you back to the no-holds-barred heroin scene in 1980's Edinburgh. First introduced in Irvine Welsh's raw yet darkly hilarious 1993 novel, the world of Renton and pals has never quite been presented like this. And yes, don't forget to brace yourself for the Worst Toilet in Scotland.

Tragic and yet strangely life-affirming, Trainspotting is the story of Mark Renton and his friends Spud, Sick Boy, Tommy a bunch of young men lost in the haze of drink and hard drugs, spending their days in pursuit of the next high. When Renton decides to give up the gak, life changes, even more so than he could have ever imagined.
