Following its critically acclaimed run at the Southwark Playhouse Elephant last year, The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button is now at home at the Ambassadors Theatre. Based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's short story, and set to a winning folk-infused score that sees the multi-talented ensemble take up instruments, this wonderful and heartwarming production tells the story of Benjamin Button, who experiences the unique affliction of ageing backwards.
Growing up in a small fishing town in Cornwall, Benjamin Button has always been an outsider. Born as an old man and increasingly getting younger, Button dreams of a life filled with adventure and love. When he meets a local girl called Elowen Keene, Button's wants can finally be realised, but with war looming, will Button get to live out his dream?

Intimate, heartfelt, beautiful
A charismatic ensemble creates theatrical alchemy in this charming folktale with shades of Once and Come From Away.
