This production works both for adults and their children. it is a unique theatre experience and we'd highly recommend anyone with kids (probably 5+) to go see it - they won't forget it.

I took my daughter and her friend to the very first showing and I have to say that it was a very engaging and exciting production! The use of the train line made the show... smooth transition of the story very creatively done!! Will be going back again to watch later in the year and would advise anyone fond of the story to see this amazing production! 5**

FAB show but cold and pricey

The production was FANTASTIC but the theatre was SO cold, it was 22 degrees outside so hadn't taken a fleece, but needed a coat inside, air con was so fierce! Also I agree with others that the ice creams were hugely overpriced at £3 for a tiny tub, 3 of us = £9! So glad the production was first class though. We ate outside beforehand [Waggamammas] - looked like just pick and mix and pop corn inside - didn't dare to look at the prices. We were quizzed about food in our bags on the way in! It was like checking in for a flight! All said show was FAB....

Wonderful Railway children

I took my children to see the wonderful production of the railway children at the old Eurostar terminal in Waterloo station. The stage was brilliant which made the audience feel part of the production. Just before the start and after the intermission, the cast came out in character and mingled with the audience. I thought Marcus Brigstocke was brilliant as Mr Perks, Having only seen him as a comedian and satirist I thought he was spot on with his character. A great family experience and a bit different to the normal theatre trip!

Fantastic production 10/10 but very disappointing welcome!

Went to 14.30 show on 15th July. The production is absolutely amazing. Our 6 yr old son & we were mesmerised so well done to all! Sadly though completely misguided regarding venue. This needs to be improved. Official website advises "There is a large selection of all sorts of food & drink available at the theatre so please do not bring your own". There's not! Eat before. "Theatre & bars open 1.5 hrs before hand". Were allowed into venue (by very surly staff) at 13.20. Allowed access to theatre at 14.00! Site also says "there is a lot to do & see prior to the show so a family can make a day of it". There's not! Arriving 2 hrs before the show (as advised) found the 'ride on train' outside wasn't working; a small mermandise counter, a display showing photos from the film, a couple of very uncomfortable cafes & a silent cinefilm inside! Very uninspiring for adults let alone children?! Was a long wait in a very uncomfortable & souless place. Shame really. Lets down the fab show.
