Wow what a show! I went with my school to see The Lord Of The Rings, and after seeeing the films and reading the books, i was curious to see how they could manage it all on stage. What can i say, it was breath taking! The lighting, the sound effects, the costumes, were just incredible. I have to admit, after not being a huge fan of the films i was pleasently surprised to find myself after the performance, wanting to watch all over again and would recommend it to everyone. Go in with an open mind! Its like nothing you have ever seen before-an incredible insight to middle-earth! You feel as if you are part of the show and the acting and singing is so brilliant, better than any show that i have been to see. So, get tickets now, it will be a shame to see the show end and if you miss out, what a loss! You will have missed the best show of our time!

Me and my wife have seen many shows, this has to be the best of all, the acting was nothing short of excellent, I lost myself into the script feeling like I was part of the theme. DONT close the show, forget the critics, would be sad to see so many people miss out on a performace like this. Go see it, you wont be disapointed, and the singers bravo...

This was the most amazing show I have ever seen - not just a musical extravaganza but a total experience right from the moment you stepped into the theatre to the time when you had to leave - very reluctantly! I could watch this show over and over and still see something I missed before. Don't miss this one!!

Absolutely the best show that I have ever seen. I love musicals and all shows and i have seen many, but this is the very best by far. The stage set, the incredible spectacle, the experience, the music, every single actor put everything into the performance as if it was the first time they had ever done the show, it was breath taking and magical and I am booking now to see it again. This will be the best show you will ever see. It is completely original and takes the story through the eyes of the hobbits which makes it different to the films. Fantastic!!!!!!

2007 was a memorable year ,first, my daughter ,Chloe's marriage to Michael in London, and then a preview of LOTR.For anyone interested in the technical and backstage workings of theatre, this is an experience.See the show before it closes in July.Pity it is not running longer in my favourite city.Pleased to read that LOTR is touring,please come to Johannesburg ,South Africa soon. There are many, many enthusiastic locals who will love to see a home grown product.

I have been a fan of the books since I was ten years old and now my children are too. We have watched all the films and loved them, but the musical is out of this world. It is visually stunning - the characters enchanting - the orcs are fantastic. This production also gives a new insight into the character of golum and lets you see he isn't all bad. The whole production from start to finish keeps you rivited and if you are like my family you will live every moment along with the characters. If you are in London and have a free evening this production is a must see.
