Mother Love

5/5
Susan Sargeaunt from London, England
11th December 2023

It started with the usual done for woman surrounded by men who didn't match up, an alcoholic, libertine, husband whose illicit affairs birthed a syphilitic son, and an illegitemate daughter, who then conjoined as incestuous lovers, and, who, when made aware, became alienated and abandoned, the only recourse being to self- terminate or self- prostitute. The Mother realised she had been the one to extinguish all light, all joy, both with her husband and son, and that agony was excruciating.

Spookily Boring

We left in the interval. Often a fan of dramas and plays, this had no interesting storyline. The acting was good, but my partner and I both agreed we were very bored sadly.

Ghosts Ibsen

1/5
Douglas Train from London, England

A production to be avoided at all costs. No conceivable reason for bizarre interpretation. Purple shag pile carpet, artist son dressed in gym shorts and ill fitting Waistcoat and priest in cheap light grey suit. The building is the only redeeming feature. Sorry , love S W but not this ludicrous and self indulgent drivel.

Ghosts

I went with a group of friends all in their twenties but we were so bored that we left half way through. again the acting was good but there was no excitement and the story line was not so great. I think I was expecting more ghosts than actors standing around talking about the past. would not recommend to a younger audience.
