It started with the usual done for woman surrounded by men who didn't match up, an alcoholic, libertine, husband whose illicit affairs birthed a syphilitic son, and an illegitemate daughter, who then conjoined as incestuous lovers, and, who, when made aware, became alienated and abandoned, the only recourse being to self- terminate or self- prostitute. The Mother realised she had been the one to extinguish all light, all joy, both with her husband and son, and that agony was excruciating.

We left in the interval. Often a fan of dramas and plays, this had no interesting storyline. The acting was good, but my partner and I both agreed we were very bored sadly.

A production to be avoided at all costs. No conceivable reason for bizarre interpretation. I went with a group of friends all in their twenties but we were so bored that we left half way through. again the acting was good but there was no excitement and the story line was not so great. I think I was expecting more ghosts than actors standing around talking about the past. would not recommend to a younger audience.
