Suzie-Eddie does it again with a one person show that is moving, skillful, eye-opening, and well worth seeing by one and all. This is the very quintessence of feminist embodiment: someone who uses mind, body, voice, humour, vision and insight to explore a text we all thought we knew— until now. Wonderful,, generous and enjoyable theatre.

I was taken to The Riverside Studios yesterday for a Fathers Day treat. I was intrigued at the prospect of watching Eddie Izzard perform his one man Hamlet, as I really had only known him beforehand as a trans stand up comic! This turned out to be a 'tour de force' by a remarkable human being of many parts, as I discovered later by doing some research! I could not recommend this production more highly - with Studio 2 being a good size for viewing such an intimate performance. Probably an unsuitable show for children, but seating was fine, if a little firm for an elderly backside. Plenty of restaurants locally, to satisfy all tastes, and therefore an all round enjoyable experience!

If you're expecting traditional Shakespeare then dont bother! If you want a fresh alternative approach then this is a must watch!! Susie (Eddie) performed this classic play with an energy and skill I have never experienced before. She never faltered in her performance and was able to convince the audience that there was more than one person on the stage at any one time. A triumph and i defy anyone to try anyone to attempt the same.

This was a brilliant experience , and Eddie Izzard is spellbinding in her mastery of the characters and interaction with us in the audience. I would recommend this unreservedly for a brilliant experience. Setting of the studio is great and works perfectly for the play.

I have seen Eddie loads of times in different guises; interviews, stand up, politics, even saw him do his act entirely in German although i don't speak a word of it, I'msuch a die hard fan but also a critic if i don'tlike something they've done. But never have I ever seen anything like this. Eddie, you surpassed yourself. Travelled to London specifically to see this and I would do it again tomorrow. Mind-blowing performance. Thank you so much for an experience I will never forget.

Bold. Incredible. The actor take on 23 characters for this one man show. It's story telling at its best.
