This was second time seeing the show in the last 2 years! The show was freaking AMAZING! From the scenography to the special effects, acting, dancing and singing, it was all perfect! We were amazed by the quality of the special effects, and the way actors and dancers were perfectly coordinated! Highly recommend!

This was one of the most visually impressive shows I’ve ever been to. I’ve just come back from seeing it at the Adelphi in London. Wow! Congratulations to all the cast, musicians and set crew! I want to see it again! My standouts were George McFly, Doc and Goldie Wilson - sorry, I don’t know their real names. Look them up, on stage 5 January. Incredible!

Wasn't sure how they were going to make this into a musical stage show but anything I imagined was far exceeded by what I experienced. This was a masterpiece of theatre production, fantastic character portrayals, especially George McFly who absolutely nailed it, and brilliant and very clever special effects and staging. If the movie was ever of any interest to you then this will not disappoint. Thoroughly recomend it.

Back To The Future The Hit Musical

05/23/2022 Hello, I'm Jean-Pierre "JP" Maurey-Delaunay and this is my review of my new West End show: Back To The Future. Based on the 1985 film, Back To The Future: The Musical, arrives in London for audiences to experience the classic on stage. There's alot you'd expect from this show, like the classic George-Punch-Biff scene and the timeless icon: The Delorean I wasn't expecting alot of applause from an audience!. Now I have alot to talk about so stay tuned, first the performances: 1. Will Haswell was fantastic as Marty I thought his performance was indescribable, he looks to me like a young Han Solo. 2. Roger Bart raises the roof as Doc Brown, his talent and energy that he brought to the character was second to none, I love the part where he says "who's vice president, Daffy Duck?". 3. Aidan Cutler nails it as the show's villain, Biff Tannen, I felt like he looks alot like Thomas F. Wilson from the film, he was an amazing singer. The songs: 1. Teach Him A Lesson sung by Biff and his gang (only 3D and Slick, Match doesn't appear in the show), I thought that was a full on villain song because it really shows his hatred towards Marty and what was really funny was that he got some phrases wrong such as: "Heads He (Marty) wins and tales I Lose!" and "A man he won't regret". 2. It Works sung by Doc Brown, it was a brilliant song Roger Bart sung it really well, he had really amazing dance moves at the start of the song and I liked the part Marty says "who are the girls?", To which Doc responds "I don't know, they just show up everytime I start singing!". 3. Something About That Boy sung by Lorraine, Biff and his gang, this song to me was like a step-into-Disney universe because it has a classic chase scene only in this chase it is set in the school and Biff is not covered in manure but spaghetti and Marty uses a Star Wars reference that hints he is from the 80s (much to Biff's confusion). 4. 21st Century sung by Doc Brown, this song reminded me of music of Wreck It Ralph because of it's electronic sounds and drums, which I thought were good, also at one point in the song there two things that I noticed hint to Back To The Future Part II and Part III ( Spoiler: The Police Box from Dr. Who appears). The setting: 1. I thought the way the clocktower moved was great when it switched to the Delorean taking center stage. 2. The Hill Valley High School was brilliant when it moved around on a circle to show we've gone to a different location of the school. The Delorean was to die for it was brilliantly designed and when Marty goes back in time there is some animation on the curtain and back to show the movement of the car, and I loved how it flew over the audience I mean how does it do that?! Of all the West End shows I've seen, I like this one more. Come and see Back To The Future The Musical you'll have a great night!. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
