I love Mamet. I love this play. I see big connections between both Mamet and this play and beckett and waiting for godot. But I really expected more from this cast and I honestly didn't feel they played it with the right balance of depth attached to the comedy, sad comedy, of the situation. The three characters were hardly distinguishable. The acting was not far from 2 dimensional. Underwhelming. They didn't do justice to the writing and a lot of the audience I felt were there for the 'star attaraction', not the writing.
