The Muses have never sounded better! The highly anticipated West End production of Hercules has released a new video of the fierce fivesome performing the iconic hit number Zero to Hero. The ensemble features Candace Furbert (Thalia), Sharlene Hector (Clio), Brianna Ogunbawo (Melpomene), Malinda Parris (Calliope), and Robyn Rose-Li (Terpsichore).
About Hercules On The West End
Set in ancient Greece, Hercules follows the journey of a young demigod who doesn't quite fit in with gods or mortals. When the fate of the world hangs in the balance, he must prove that true heroism is about more than just strength - it takes heart, courage, and a little help from the legendary Muses.
Opening at Theatre Royal Drury Lane on June 24, with previews beginning June 6, Hercules promises to bring new life to the beloved 1997 Disney animated classic. With music by Alan Menken and lyrics by David Zippel, the show features a fresh new book by Robert Horn and Kwame Kwei-Armah. Helmed by director Casey Nicholaw, who also co-choreographs alongside Tanisha Scott, this stage adaptation draws inspiration from the legendary film while offering a bold new take for modern audiences.
