Why see The Kite Runner?
A HAUNTING TALE OF LOVE & REDEMPTION
Back by popular demand, Khaled Hosseini's international best-seller-turned-British-theatre-classic is once again touring the UK in the spring of 2020. Critically acclaimed for its haunting portrayal of a war-torn friendship that spans multiple countries and cultures, the tour de force production is helmed by prolific English theatre maker Giles Croft and heads out on the road after two triumphant runs on the West End in 2019.
Exploring themes of betrayal, redemption, the immigrant experience and the enduring nature of love and forgiveness, The Kite Runner follows the coming of age journey of Amir, a young Afghan immigrant who finds his belief system opposes that of the world he lives in. When he is summoned to Pakistan by Rahim Khan, an old family friend, Amir must confront his guilt over shocking event of his past that involved his best friend.
